LOTV Mothers Day Card challenge

Here's my card for LOTV challenge which is to make a Mother's Day card.
I have used love heart prints from Printable Heaven, cut the large hearts with my fiskars template, used a heart punch for the corners, printed my own greeting on the PC, and used a Penny Black stamp and coloured it with my Whispers pens, and added a little kindy glitz glitter glue onto the flowers. I used a gemstone brad and some organza ribbon at the top of the heart.
I need to pop it in the post today and hope it gets to the UK on time for Mother's Day!

Cute Card Thursday challenge - Food & Drink

Here's my card for the CCT challenge, the theme is food & drink and to create a card with an item of food or drink on it somewhere.
It's a 3d decoupage picture, the frame was made with my sizzix die, I've used some lovely paper flowers with a pink jewel brad in the middle. The background paper is from Printable Heaven.
You can't really see it but I have used kindy glitz glitter glue on the the bubbles, flowers and glasses.

LOTV challenge - Bright & Beautiful

Just visited the LOTV blog and thought I would enter my LOTV Jasmine card to the comp!
It's a lovely sunny morning here in Oz so I have taken a photo of the card outside hoping it will be better than the one already on.
The card is made with my Dovecraft wonderboard, and as you can see it's a three fold card, the first time I have made a card this shape. I have also made a tri-fold card with my LOTV Jasmine die cuts, that's on my blog too.

All papers are LOTV, I have used some beautiful paper flowers and added Kaiser rhinestones in the centre and on the front of the card. I cut out the words 'chat' using my heart punch and they are mounted with foam pads. I hope you like it?

More LOTV cards

Here are two more cards I made a while ago using LOTV die cuts.
The backgrounds on the guitar one are made with cuttlebug embossing folders, one is layered onto silver mirri card, I painted a chipboard star blue, and the You Rock stamp is from Inkadinkado.

The other one is just cutting different shapes and mounting the paper onto silver mirri card, greeting printed off the PC.

LOTV cards

I haven't posted for a while but I have been making cards recently, here's two I made tonight using LOTV die cuts and papers. I used three Jasmine die cuts on the one card, the front says Birthday Girl Shop! the next one says Relax! Then the last one says Party! When I made the tri-fold card I knew I had to use all three on this card!
The greetings on the tri fold card were printed on the pc then mounted onto silver mirri card. I used my Dovecraft Wonderboard to make the shaped cards. Both cards are made from A4 size white card.
Hope you like my efforts at something new (to me anyway!)

I made a couple of Christmas cards tonight, a blue theme one and a traditional red & green one.
The stamps are by Penny Black coloured with my Whispers markers, the blue paper is by Stemma, and the trees and swirls by American Crafts, I used quickutz snowflakes on the blue one, and Christmas lights rub ons and a 3D snowflake on the other from a local 2 buck stall.
I'm off to bed 12.30am now, night night. I'll be making more cards over the weekend.

Off the page

I decorated some cardboard bags last night for my kids and decorated a wooden Kaiser handbag album during the week too. I'm new to all this off the page stuff, but I enjoyed making them.
The other album I made a few weeks ago for a 40th, i bought a glitter spray for the 40 but ended up using glue and lots of gold glitter! I then sprayed it with workable fixative to stop the glitter from falling off.
Off to make some cards now.

Forever Friends challenge

Forever Friends Challenge - theme 'With Love'.
This is my card for the FF challenge, I don't have any stamps yet so I made this card with one of the stickers that were free with a magazine. The sticker is layered onto white card then onto silver mirri card, the background paper is by Kaiser, the green paper is the reverse of the same sheet layered onto gold mirri card, which always looks black when you scan the cards.
I used a corner punch on the bottom of the card and used silver foiled sentiments.
Hope you like it.

Crafty stuff!

I thought I would put some pictures on of where I do my cards and my recent purchases!
I have my own craft room now, in our last house I used to take over the dining table and we could never sit at it!
Now I just make a mess in here, the only bad thing is there is no door on this room, so I can't hide my mess! lol
I have also taken a pic of some of my Pocket Dragons that I collect and my ology books that I mentioned in my profile.

Just wanna say Hi card

I made another card today, I saw one of my Lili Of The Valley die cuts sitting on my table and remembered one of my new stamps says 'Just wanna say Hi' and thought the two went together well.
The stamp is from a set by Wendy Irving Paper Craft.

Today's card

Well today I made a sympathy card as I got a phone call this morning to say my uncle in England had passed away in his sleep, he was only 56.
I feel terrible being so far away.

The rubber stamps and flower are by Wendy Irving Paper Craft, I used bazzil for the card and layered up onto white & lilac card and purple mirror card, I stamped the butterfly image and then cut it out and shaped it's wings to make it 3D. The ribbon is purple flower ric rac.
